Colour correction is my favorite subject in the whole world! I absolutely love it when clients have been colouring hair dark brown and want to go lighter. I thoroughly enjoy the process of gentle cleansing, searching to see the areas which will be difficult or easy to lighten.

Then once that has been revealed, deep cleansing out the unwanted permanent colour. Then when the hair is the shade of a tequilla sunrise (undercoat) that we need, deciding what colour to do on it next.

The satisfaction is amazing seeing the clients face when you've transformed them to lighter hair. Colour correction also covers pre-colouring/pre-pig where we have to put back the missing red, yellow, orange undercoat.
